Cultural Heritage Programme Area’s Enhancing Bilateral Activities Call has been modified with extension of eligible applicants and partners

“Enhancing Bilateral Activities on Project Level” call for proposal is available since 20th February within Conservation and Revitalisation of Cultural Heritage and Natural Heritage and Promotion of Diversity in Culture and Arts within European Cultural Heritage. Eligibility requirements has been modiefied, extending the call’s relevance from the current HU07 Programme Area’s  Project Promoters of granted projects to other organizations.

Total fund at the publication of the call is 81 917.4 EUR / 25 558 228 Ft. Since the opening of the call four applications has been submitted via the NORA system. In case of positive evaluation and support of the projects, 18 101 198 Ft grant amount will be still available.

The objective is that the granted project promoters carry out additional activities related to existing projects that reinforce the bilateral ties and networks, by professional workshops, conferences, study tours, innovative cultural programmes and activities.

The following organisations may submit project proposals: central government institutions, local municipalities and their associations, churches and church institutions, associations of local municipalities in case they are legal entities. In case of the present Call for Proposals NGOs in Hungary are eligible for funding that have relevant experiences in the field of culture and/or arts and/or social integration. For instance: unions, and other associations, foundations, non- profit companies, other non- profit legal entities, non- profit organisations. Modified Call for Proposal is available on EEA Grants’ official website.

Minimum project support is determined in 2 000.0 EUR / 624 000 Ft, maximum support is 8 000.0 EUR / 2 496 000 Ft.

Open call for proposal to enhance bilateral activity within Public Health Programme Area

"Exchange of experience and partnership programs in the field of improvement of patient safety conditions in hospitals" call for proposal is available within Public Health Initiatives Programme Area, since 24th March, 2017.

On 24th March 2017. a new call for proposal opened within Norway Grants 2009-2014. HU12 – Public Health Initiatives program area. Purpose of this call is to establish new partnerships and to strengthen existing partnerships with domestic institutions of the donor country. The expected output is the extended network and enlarged knowledge base of the project owner to further facilitate the overall improvement of patient safety in Hungary by primarily reducing the number of adverse events.

Total fund at the publication of the call is 28 687 EUR / 8 950 400 Ft.

Minimum project support is determined in 2 500 000 Ft, maximum support is 4 500 000 Ft.

Exchange rate: 312 Ft/EUR.

“Exchange of experience to facilitate knowledge transfer in effective operation of in-patient care” call for proposal is available within Public Health Programme Area. The HU12 Public Health Initiatives program of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 aims to improve the health status of the population and to reduce the burden of disease in some priority areas, with particular emphasis on mental health services.

On 10th March 2017. a new call for proposal opens within Norway Grants 2009-2014. HU12 – Public Health Initiatives program area. Purpose of this call is to establish new partnerships and to strengthen existing partnerships with domestic institutions of the donor country. Partnerships will focus on the study of efficient financing and operation of in-patient care in cooperation with actors and experts from the donor country, involved in providing health care and/or decision-making on health care. This exchange of experience will yield to a knowledge transfer facilitating the efficient use of resources for sustainable development in the Hungarian health care system.

Total fund at the publication of the call is 59 581,07 EUR / 18 589 294 Ft.

Minimum project support is determined in 1 200 000 Ft, maximum support is 9 000 000 Ft.

“Exchange of experience related to and best practices and measures to reduce health inequalities” call for proposal is available within Public Health Programme Area. The HU12 Public Health Initiatives program of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 aims to improve the health status of the population and to reduce the burden of disease in some priority areas, with particular emphasis on mental health services.

On 10th March 2017. a new call for proposal opens within Norway Grants 2009-2014. HU12 – Public Health Initiatives program area. Purpose of this call for proposal is to transfer knowledge, to exchange best practices that can be implemented to reduce health inequalities. Specific objective is the transfer of methodology, or elaboration of policy recommendations yielding to the increase of taking public health aspects into account in sectoral and local decision-making processes. Furthermore, the aforementioned decision-making mechanisms keep public health in focus in daily operation.

Capacity Building and Institutional Cooperation Programme Area’s call for bilateral activities has been modified

Modified “Bilateral activities in the Capacity Building and Institutional Cooperation Programme Area” Call’s consolidated version is available among the open calls of the Programme Area.

Text of the call „Bilateral activities in the Capacity Building and Institutional Cooperation Programme Area” has changed on 29th March 2017, changes are marked with red letter color in the text.

Amendments in the call consists of:

3.5. General rules of the eligibility of expenditures: The costs incurred by the Donor Project Partner shall be supported by receipted invoices as stated in the Art. 7.13(1) of the Regulation. Apart from the invoice, the Donor Project Partner as a supporting document of the invoice should submit an official declaration (the template of the declaration will be annexed to the project contract).

4.2. Supporting documents to be uploaded as an attachment to the application changed with extension of the list concluding project promoter’s and Hungarian project partner’s Declaration of the Applicant proving that the represented entity fulfils the criteria of transparency. Declaration of transparency template is already available amongst Hungarian Call annexes.

According to 4.1. paragraph of the Call, all of the attachments shall be submitted via the electronic platform (NORA) and the original of the ‘Declaration stating the undertaking to meet the conditions of the Call for Proposals’, generated in NORA system must be submitted in one hard copy as well. The original of the ‘Declaration stating the undertaking to meet the conditions of the Call for Proposals’ must be posted in sealed packaging, by a registered mail service, addressed to the Implementing Agency. New bilateral call for proposal published in Green Industry Innovation Programme

„Bilateral relations for projects – networking, exchange, sharing and transfer of knowledge, technology, experience and best practices” call for proposal is available within Green Industry Innovation Programme Area. All Project Promoters of granted projects already implemented or under implementation of the HU09 programme area are eligible to apply for these funds for additional bilateral activities.

The EEA and Norway Grants are financial mechanisms established by Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. The overall objectives of the Grants are reduction of economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area and strengthening bilateral relations between the Donor States and the beneficiary states, including Hungary. Bilateral relations are emphasized during the year 2017 as the results of the supported projects and their further development possibilities are already visible.

Szent István University as Programme Operator of Green Industry Innovation Programme is publishing a call for proposal to support the forming of new bilateral relations and to strengthen existing connections with Norwegian organizations.

Activities eligible for support may include professional meetings with Norwegian organizations, participation in conferences, study visits, publicity activities, joint studies, surveys and the cooperative development of project ideas.

Eligible applicants should be already supported project promoters of the Programme Area and their project partners.

Total fund available at the publication of the call is  100.000 EUR / 31.200.000 HUF.

Minimum project support is determined in minimum 1.602 EUR /500 000 HUF, maximum support is 16.025 EUR / 5 000 000 HUF.

Capacity Building Matchmaking Event - Visegrád

Submission of applications for „Bilateral activities in the Capacity Building and Institutional Cooperation Programme Area” Call is starting on 27th March 2017. Programme Operator supported eligible municipalities of less than 30 000 population cities with a Project Partner Finder event. More than 40 representatives of Norwegian and Hungarian institutions and organizations participated in the program.

The overall objective of Capacity Building and Institutional Cooperation Programme  Area is reaching enhanced institutional capacity and human resource development in public institutions, local and regional authorities in Hungary through cooperation and transfer of knowledge and experience with similar institutions and authorities in Norway. Eligible applicants should be municipalities with a population below 30 000 people. As donor project partners, public sector institutions and non-profit organisations registered in Norway are welcome. Detailed Call for proposal and required annexes are available on the programme area subpage of EEA and Norway Grants’ Hungarian website.

 

Supporting the Call for “Bilateral activities in the Capacity Building and Institutional Cooperation Programme Area” the Programme Operator organized a Matchmaking Event on 20-21. March 2017, in Visegrád. Dr. Gergő Korponai, Head of Unit of Prime Minister’s Office welcomed the participants. Ms. Gunnbjorg Navik, representing Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities (KS) introduced the possibilities of project partnership from the Norwegian point of view.  Ms. Katalin Sabján, from Hungarian National Association of Local Authorities presented Hungarian institutional structure and regulations. Mrs. Zsófia Barabásné dr. Zsemlye on behalf of International Development and Found Coordination Agency (IDEFA Co.), Implementing Agency of Hungarian EEA and Norway Grants 2009-2014 gave a presentation on „Bilateral activities in the Capacity Building and Institutional Cooperation Programme Area” Call and operative application details. During the afternoon session of the event Hungarian participants were able to personally discuss project ideas with Norwegian partners.

Programme Operator is further supporting project partner finding with an online application: those Hungarian and Norwegian organizations interested in the Call or bilateral relation making are asked to register themselves in the Matchmaking E-catalogue and search in the constantly refreshing list of partner seekers.

Green Industry Innovation Bilateral Experience Sharing event - Study tour and brokerage event in Oslo, 14-16. March 2017.

March 14th -16th around 60 Central and Eastern European companies within business areas such as modern production and manufacturing and smart societies will gather to learn from Norwegian knowledge and expertise in their business areas.

Organizations interested in market opportunities in Central Europe and the Baltics are welcome on the Brokerage Event and B2b matchmaking event taking place in Oslo, in order to meet potential business partners for future collaborations.

The main business areas will be: buildings – heating and energy saving; electronics, microelectronics; food industry; industrial manufacturing; packing industry; plastics and metal processing; production of automotive elements.

Call for proposal entitled „Equal opportunities for women” to strengthen bilateral relations

It is our great pleasure to inform our potential applicants that the two newest calls for proposals are available on 09.03. 2017. concerning the National Fund for Bilateral Relations (NFBR) in the frame of EEA and Norwegian Financial Mechanisms 2009-2014.

The overall objective of the National Fund for Bilateral Relations is to strengthen bilateral relations between the Donor States – Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein – and Hungary. The aim is to increase the extent of cooperation between institutions and individuals, through formal partnerships or more ad hoc exchange and collaboration.

Regarding this call, the allocation of the grant can be used for encouraging cooperation between Donor States and Hungary with the aim of strengthening gender equality and elimination of violence against women.

The eligible activities include inter alia participation at workshops or seminars of the organizations of Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein, participation at study trips, events, conferences, publicities, expert studies and awareness-raising activities.

Eligible applicants of the present open call are any entity, public or private, commercial or non-commercial and non-governmental organisations established as a legal person in Hungary, as well as natural persons who are legal residents of Hungary are eligible applicants.

Open calls shall be organized to select projects and initiatives to be funded under the first and second key priority areas.

  • Programme for initiatives with easy reimbursement option (PIERO):

PIERO can support ad hoc initiatives that require a rather quick appraisal and quick action. In the PIERO scheme, the call for proposals will be open continuously until funds are available.

  • Cooperation programme for enhanced relations (COOPER)

COOPER can support initiatives with a broader time-span that consist of a chain of actions with possible long-term effects. In the COOPER scheme, the deadline for submission of applications is 30 June 2017.

In the PIERO scheme, the call for proposals will be open continuously from 13.03. 2017. until funds are available or 30 June, 2017.

In both type of initiatives advance payment request is available, which equals with the 80% of the support amount.

Aid intensity: 100 %

The allocation of the grant: 277.500 EUR (~86 580 000 HUF)

In the frame of PIERO the maximum grant is 1.000-20.000 EUR depending on the activity and the number of the participants, while in the frame of COOPER the maximum amount is 30.000 EUR.
