The calculation table of the Sub-programme 1 and 2 is modified Please be informed that the auxiliary calculation table (for determining the maximum amount of funding that can be awarded, and presenting the revenue and expenditure plan of the business plan) has been modified. The change concerns only those project promoters and partners who are apply for a bonus of 15 percentage points in case of Aid for R+D projects or Aid to SMEs for the costs associated with industrial property rights. We kindly ask our Applicants concerned in this change to fill in the new calculation table. Other Applicants could use the earlier version of the calculation table. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Please be informed that the calls for proposals of "Reduced production of waste and emissions to air, water and ground (Sub-programme 1)"and "More use of environmentally friendly technologies (Sub-programme 2)" have been modified in the revenue generating aspect of the project and the obligation of guarantee parts.

For determining the maximum amount of funding that can be awarded, and presenting the revenue and expenditure plan of the business plan, a calculation table ( Annex of the business plan ) is available in our website.

We also inform you that the submission of the electronic application is available as of today on our website. The application form may be filled by clicking on the "Current calls for tender" button, after registering on the interface (https://nora.norvegalap.hu/) .

List of modifications:

1)    The following provision was deleted in section VI / 3:

"In case of an income generating project (users must pay for using the services created in the framework of the project) the amount of the grant shall be adjusted with the discounted surplus gains calculated for the implementation and maintenance period."

2)    The following provision was deleted in section IX/2:

"Please, indicate in the business plan if the project is income generating, (users must pay for using the services created in the framework of the project) and show the discounted surplus gains calculated for the implementation and the maintenance period."

3)    The following provision was modified in section VII / 7:

"If the Beneficiary is not exempted from the obligation to provide a security based on the provisions of Government Decree 368/2011 (XII.31.) on the implementation of the Act on Public Finances, the Beneficiary (except budgetary units and entities or state-owned non-profit organisations with legal entity) shall, in addition to the direct debit authorization, provide one of the following securities..."

The programme document on capacity building and institutional cooperation has been approved by the financial mechanisms office

The programme will support cooperation between Hungarian and Norwegian public institutions including the improvement of local economies, community building, the more effective operation of local governments (organisational development and training. Successful Information Day and Partnership event

On 13 August 2013 the National Development Agency Managing Authority for International Co-operation Programmes, as the Programme Operator of the Capacity building and institutional cooperation programme, held an information and partnership event in the Hotel Novotel Centrum, Budapest.

Concerning the Call for proposals Capacity-building of local governments for enhancing quality of public services and for promoting local economic developmentthe potential applicants and other interested parties received direct guidance about the objectives and content of the Call for proposals, and also the administrative details and the technical conditions of submitting the applications.

The Norwegian local and regional authorities were also represented with 11 experts, whom the participants could personally meet after the presentations in an informal and personal conversation during which they could discuss the details of their planned projects, ask some advice in finding project partners or about the scope of eligible projects.

The event was followed by great interest. Among the nearly one hundred participants we could greet many potential applicants with existing partnership, but also a number of other interested parties from the business and civil sector. We learned with pleasure that many of the future applicants were quite well prepared, some project plans made a hit among the Norwegian partners.

The partnership event has achieved its aim by giving detailed information, useful advice and providing the opportunity for direct contacts for the potential applicants, it successfully promoted their applications to be more effective.

INFORMATION DAY AND PARTNERSHIP EVENT-Of the Capacity building and institutional cooperation programme

We are pleased to announce that the National Development Agency Managing Authority for International Co-operation Programmes, as the Programme Operator of the Capacity building and institutional cooperation programme organizes an information and matchmaking event on 13 August 2013 in Budapest in the Hotel Novotel Centrum.

The aim of the Info-day is to provide the potencial applicants and other interested parties with direct guidance about the objectives and content of the "Capacity-building of local governments for enhancing quality of public services and for promoting local economic development" call for proposals, the administrative details of submitting the applications, as well as the technical conditions such as how to fill out the electronic application form.

After the presentations, during the afternoon participants can personally meet their existing or future partners in an informal and personal conversation during which they can discuss the details of the planned projects.

The event is open for the public, but registration is needed, so we welcome our potential applicants as well as everyone else interested.

We would like to ask those potencial applicants already having a prospective partner to kindly inform them about the opportunity of the attendance on the event and also to give the organizer their partners' names when filling out the registration form.

The costs of the accommodation and – up to certain budgetary limits – that of the travelling will be paid for the Norwegian participants by the organizer.

The call for proposals of the Capacity building and institutional cooperation programme is launched

We are pleased to announce that the call for proposals of the Capacity building and institutional cooperation programme has been published today on our website.  

The total available amount for "Capacity-building of local governments for enhancing quality of public services and for promoting local economic development" through cooperation with Norwegian partners is 6.830.000 €.

The project promoter has to be a Hungarian local government.

Only projects involving at least one partner from Norway and at least one partner from Hungary may be eligible for support.

The call for proposal is available in English language, the Annexes are partly available only in Hungarian here (translations will follow soon).

Project proposals shall be compiled in English.

The application form shall be submitted electronically by 6 p.m. on 30 September 2013 and following electronic submission, the printable signed declaration shall be submitted per post at the latest by 24.00 hrs on 30 September 2013.

THE RENEWABLE ENERGY PROGRAMME DOCUMENT WITHIN THE EEA GRANTS 2009-2014 HAS BEEN APPROVED

The Financial Mechanism Committee consisting of the representatives of the donor states (Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein) approved the programme document of the Renewable Energy programme area on 24th May 2013.

Aim of the programme operated by NKEK National Environmental Protection and Energy Center Non-profit Ltd, as Programme Operator, is to increase the use of renewable energy sources within the final energy consumption. The programme will contribute with ca. 2.1 billion HUF to reach this goal.
