About the modification of Energy Study and about the publication of a collection of the Frequently Asked Questions

We would like to draw stakeholders' attention, under the frame of Improving Energy Efficient public Schools call for proposals' (launched at 30 September, 2013), Annex 6. Energy Study has been modified.
Thanks to the modification Energy Study has been supplemented by the mandatory content elements of the contract to be concluded with the auditor or with the company performing the audit. Link to the modified annex (in Hungarian): link.

CALLS AIMED IMPROVING BILATERAL RELATIONS ARE LAUNCHED

We are pleased to announce that calls for proposals aimed improving Bilateral relations of the Energy Efficiency programme, (EEA Fund) has been published today on our website.

The total available amount for 'Exchange of experience for Public Schools' (HU-02-2013-B1) and'Exchange of experience for non-governmental organisations' (HU-02-2013-B2) is 2 x 66.801 EUR€, max. grant rate is 100%.

Goal of the calls is to strengthen relations in the field of energy efficiency between the beneficiary and donor countries through getting familiar with the prevailing best practices in the donor countries and the involvement of donor project partners. Applicants integrate the shared best practices their everyday operations thus improving their activities related to environmental protection, awareness of and education in energy efficiency.

In the framework of 'Exchange of experience for Public Schools' (HU-02-2013-B1) call for proposals only those institutions and organisations are allowed to submit proposals whose projects are approved under‘Improving Energy Efficient Public Schools' (HU02-2013) call for proposals (launched 30 November, 2013).

Therefore we kindly ask applicant does not submit any application until the closure of the evaluation of Improving Energy Efficient Public Schools'call for proposals, otherwise applications will be rejected.

In the framework of 'Exchange of experience for non-governmental organisations' (HU-02-2013-B2) call for proposals only those non-governmental organisations are allowed to submit proposals whose are active on the field of environmental protection, awareness of and education in energy efficiency.

Project proposals shall be compiled in Hungarian, but a summary is needed in English. The application form shall be submitted electronically by 15:59 p.m. on 30 May 2014 and following electronic submission, the printable signed declaration shall be submitted per post at the latest by23.59 p.m. on 30 May 2014.

Please note, all applications will be evaluated and selected based on their scores after the deadline for the submission of the applications at once (not ranked based on the date of their submission).

Children and Youth at Risk and Public Health Initiatives Programmes are about to launch

The Children and Youth at Risk and the Public Health Initiatives Programmes of the EEA/Norway Financial Mechanism hold their launching event on 5 December 2013. Hungary receives altogether around 10 billion HUF to implement social and healthcare developments.

On the event participants will be informed about the structure of the mechanisms, the planned measures and the parties involved into the planning and implementation. During the afternoon events there will be a possibility to get into details of the professional content of the open calls and also to consult on the planning of the open calls through round table discussions.

A LAUNCHING AND BILATERAL MATCHMAKING EVENT IS GOING TO BE CARRIED OUT ON 2ND DECEMBER 2013

A launching and bilateral matchmaking event is going to be carried out on 2nd December 2013 to open the Renewable Energy Programme Area of the EEA Grant 2009-2014 in Hungary and to introduce the main objectives of the Programme Area for the public.
Having regard to the fact that one of the priority objectives of EEA Grant is to strengthen bilateral relations, this event is planned to provide networking possibilities for the potential Hungarian project promoters and Donor States' (the Republic of Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway) potential project partners as well.

There is no registration fee for the conference but, you have to register in order to reserve your place. Donor participants may apply for reimbursement of participation. The reimbursement is 2000 EUR per person, as a lump sum. The lump sum is intended to cover all costs of the participant, including travel, accommodation and per diem. Maximum two people are eligible for reimbursement from a company/institution. Following registration for reimbursement, the Programme Operator will notify the participant if the application for reimbursement is approved. The available maximum budget is 40 000 EUR, therefore maximum 20 persons will be eligible for reimbursement. Reimbursement application will be available in the order of application. If more than 20 people apply for reimbursement only the first 20 will be eligible for reimbursement. A Payment Claim has to be submitted to the Implementing Agency following the event. The participant has to fill in the evaluation sheet about the event. The Implementing Agency approves the Payment Claim submitted by the participant and the Programme Operator on the basis of the evaulation sheets issues the Grant Declaration, which will be forwarded to the National Focal Point. The reimbursement will be transferred by the National Focal Point to the participant after the Programme Operator receives the required budget from EEA Grant according to the Programme Implementation Agreement and the Fund for bilateral relations at programme level.
