Development of an innovative, occurence controlled lightening system at Alföldi Tej Ltd

In the course of the project we supplemented the operation of Alföldi Tej Kft by utilizing renewable energy sources, connecting all of this with a lighting system containing new, innovative elements. As a result of the technology applied in the project the emission of CO2 and NOx gases into the air was reduced by 51.82%. As a result of the replacement of 1344 light sources with ones designed to apply induction technology, the annual electricity consumption of Alföldi Tej Kft’s Székesfehérvár facility was reduced by an average of 49.09%.

Innovative world-class environmental friendly aluminium foam manufacturing and development of the recycling technology

The aim of the project was the development of green capacities in the lagging behind region of Northern Hungary at an industrial site, in topic of materials science which area is defined both in the call for proposal and in the strategy of the region as a priority area. The aluminium foaming technology of Aluinvent Zrt. is capable to produce aluminium foams in a wide range of cell size having uniform cell size distribution which makes the Aluinvent foams unique among the products of the competitors. This is the first reliable and reproducible quality aluminium foam which can be applied as structural elements and its properties can be designed upon customer demands.

"Green way to the Future" Establishing eco-friendly technologies in Kemecse

The briquette has a high heating value, easy to store, and is usable widely both in private houses or public institutes. Collecting the organic waste gives us opportunity to save money, and to redu ce emission, because the commodity lays on the lands, and farmers are happy to provide us in exchange for bio fuel. Our project focus also on education, spreading the Scandinavian attitude, teaching locals how recycling change their everyday life, and keep the energy system sustainable. Our Norwegian partner is thankfully sharing good practices and best studies with us. The aim of establishing solar farm is to utilize solar energy, which is getting more and more popular. In Hungary the number of sunny hours is high so the installation costs show a return very quickly if we set up 150 KW, photovoltaic system.

Technological development of ultra-high pressure water jet grinding factory

The 1.45 M EUR grant provided by Norway Grants helped AquaJet Ltd to make a great progress in its history. We are very proud that the goals aimed in our application three years ago, have been successfully met. We improved the former technology line which doubled the capacity meanwhile we managed to reduce electric energy consumption by 30%. Implementing the modification we reached an additional success. Distribution of rubber particle sizes moved to smaller fractions, and the volume of our higher priced rubber powder product increased. All these achievements made our factory more efficient and sustainable.

Implementation of the ferrous metal recovery from the bottom ash in the ÉMK Ltd.’s hazardous waste incineration plant

An investment supported by Norway Grants was implemented, in which ferrous materials are recovered from bottom ash of the hazardous waste incineration plant of ÉMK Kft. (EMK North-Hungarian Environmental Protection Limited Liability Company) in SVIP Sajóbábony Industrial Park, Hungary, in order to decrease the amount of generated waste.

Természetes hatóanyag alapú termékek fejlesztése és előállítása torma növényi hulladékból környezetbarát technológiával

A projekt szakmai feladatait a tagok szoros együttműködésben végezték. A torma illóolaj stabilitási vizsgálatai, valamint az antifungális aktivitás kapcsán is hasonló együttműködés valósult meg. A norvég partner torma illóolaj felhasználásával végezte az algicid spektrumra vonatkozó kísérleteket.

Development and production of natural bioactive compound based products from vegetable waste of horseradish using environmentally friendly technology

The partners carried out the technical tasks of the project in close cooperation. The stability tests of the essential oil of horseradish as well as the examinations of antifungal activity were performed in similar cooperation. The Norwegian partner performed the experiments for the algaecide spectrum by using the essential oil of horseradish.

Research and development, reducing food industry waste emission, technology improvement, doubling capacity, increasing energy efficiency

Subjects of the project are the followings: modernization and enviromentally friendly tomato processing technology implementation, doubling capacity, substantially reducing of waste and greenhouse-gas emissions, increasing of energy efficiency.

Environmentally conscious harbor desgin for lakes with fragile ecosystems

Surface water quality has environmental, ecological, public health effects, thus the protection and development of it, is a very important task. Moreover protection and sustaining good quality status of lakes is the most important target of European Water Policy. Pollutants are mostly occurred in ports where presence of artificial impacts are highly intensive, thus this is the site where project is focused on.

Production line and building technology development to create new eco-friendly building blocks

In Europe, the majority of energy consumption comes from heating residential- and public buildings which is brought about in a high percentage by the burning of fossil fuels. Therefore the emission of gases strengthening the greenhouse effect, mostly the emission of carbon dioxide remains significant. Hence the insulation of houses and buildings is a key point in energy saving. The goal of the project is to improve a prototype of a production line that is able to reproduce building material which is made by the use of common reed in an automatized manner within the expected allowance values.

"Nature to Nature"-efficient technology, eco-friendly product

About ten thousand tons of poultry feather are wasted in Hungary each year. The fate of this unusable organic byproduct is mostly incineration, which is not only costly, but has a harmful effect on the environment as well. To deal with the problem, a solution came from Hungary. The Bern Építő Ltd, as the manager of the project, has launched a research with three Hungarian and another Norwegian organization in order to figure out how to exploit the feather for the good of the building industry.
